Strategy :

If you know in what depth the trouts hide, just mount the matching Bombarda and off you go! If the position of the trouts is uncertain, start with the upper water layer and grope down step by step until you find the fishes. The color code and the preset diving depth make it easy to present the bait in the desired water layer.

Some hints :

Retrieve as slowly as possible. Make short retrieve stops under all circumstances. While the bait dwindles down slowly, it is attacked. When fishes are lazy retrieve with uniform up and down moves of the rod tip, to provide the bait with additional movement stimuli.

Fishing technique :

At fishing with the BIG TROUT Bombardas, you should orient the rod at 45 degrees up. Always keep a look on the line between water surface and rod tip. Soft bites can very often not be felt in the rod tip, but can be detected, when the "line belly" is monitored considerately. When the bait is attacked, open the bail or activate the bite n' run mechanism. When the fish pulls off line, close the bail and set the hook.
