Product description
Awa-Shima engineers have a long term co-operation with Mitsubishi Industries Japan, from which they have used the Novamid Polymers for many years. Novamid is without doubt the most reliable and best performing polymer that we have expierienced in our laborotory tests. The monofilaments extruded using only the best Japanese machinery is in our opinion the smoothest ever produced. Novamid also has a total absense of memory that along with the incredible tensile and knot strength make these monofilaments some of the most innovative to have hit our shores for many years. The lines have been tested and rated during real fishing tests, by our team of international & sponsored anglers. All Awa-Shima monofilaments are produced using Mitsubishi Novamid Polymers and nylon resins.
Awa-Shima monofilaments factory was one of the first to produce and spool their mono's using the parallel line Spooling system. This is the only industrial process that allows the line to be spooled without any torsion thereby eliminating damage caused by over spooling. A reel spooled with a PLS line will help the angler to make longer casts and also prolong monofilament life.
Fishing line made from special Mitsubishi Novamid NT 70 polymer developed for carp fishing. Line is excellently smooth and has a high knot strength. Two camouflage color for low visibility in any lighting conditions. The fishing line is parallel wound onto two connected spools 2x300.
