Instructions for using the manual hook tier :
1st) Insert the hook into the gap in the tier so that the blade or eye of hook headed towards the outside of the binder. Tighten the lock nut so that the hook is fixed in the tier - over-tightening is unnecessary and could damage the tier. Picture 1.
2nd) The line route around the hook arm and wrap it around the back and then around the front clip and crossing it under the arm hook. Picture 2.
3rd) Rotate binder and create the arm of the hook as many turns as you used to. Picture 3.
4th) Once the required number of turns on the arm of the hook return line back to the front clip of tier. Picture 4.
5th) Press the thumb two clips into a tier, and thereby fix the loose end of the line you have in the previous steps wrapped around the arm of the hook. Picture 5.
6th) Loosen the lock nut that grips the hook and pull the line away from the tier and tighten the knot. Bound hook is ready for use. Picture 6.
