The TROTA HÖLZL has been developed for slow retrieve near the bottom. Thanks to the high buoyancy the TROTA HÖLZL is standing upright and goes up at the slightest pull.
Hint :
Always keep the line under tension – especially during the sinking phase. Normally trouts attack during the retrieve, but attacks during the fall are possible as well. The perfect trout rod features a sensitive tip, which is kept parallel to the bank in order to detect even softest bites. Once the bait is attacked, turn the rod in fish-direction and open the bail or better: use a small free spool reel. Wait with the hooking until the fish pulls line off.
Rigging :
BIG TROUT TROTA HÖLZL, Sbirolino-stopper and BIG TROUT triple swivel. Leader: 120cm with split shot ca. 30-50cm in front of the bait. Floating baits are perfect.
